Everybody's got some favorite and useful websites that they check out when they need to get the weather, find out how Lance is doing at Le Tour or learn the newest training technique. Here are just a few of ours, in no particular order:

Cycling News

www.cyclingnews.com: Absolutely the best and most complete source for all news of the cycling world. Not just covering the European racing scene, it has technical articles, equipment reviews, rider diaries, training hints and even the results of the Lake Sunapee Bike Race! A definite "must-have" for your bookmarks/favorites list.
www.velonews.com: The on-line version of the popular cycling magazine.
www.slowtwitch.com: The site for those interested in multi-sport (triathlon) racing. Includes product reviews, training articles and more.

Racing

www.usacycling.org: The governing body of our sport. The site has a current rulebook, athlete's release form, race listing and more.
www.efta.com: The Eastern Fat Tire Association promotes and sanctions mountain-bike races and fun rides throughout New England. The site has entry forms, race listings and results and lots more.
www.bikereg.com: Look at the local racing schedule, race results or register for a race online.

Training

www.ultrafit.com: Joe Friel's (the author of The Cyclist's Training Bible) website. Has a monthly training tips section
http://coachsci.sdsu.edu/index.htm: Coaching Science Abstracts contains short descriptions of all kinds of science journal papers on athletic training and performance.
http://www.gssiweb.com: The Gatorade Sport Science Institute has good research articles on nutrition and sports science.
http://members.tripod.com/~run4ever/sports/stretching_toc.html: Everything you ever wanted to know about stretching and flexibility.

Technical

www.analyticcycling.com: This site has on-line tools to evaluate and estimate cycling performance. Like "How fast will I go up that hill at x watts?" "Will those aero wheels really make me go faster?"
www.parktool.com: The well known bicycle tool manufacturer's site, with repair tips, etc.
www.campagnolo.com/home: Manufacturer's site includes parts diagrams and instructions for their components for the last six years.

Weather

www.weatherunderground.com: Type in your zipcode to get your local weather. Then choose the "local radar" link and animate the map to see if you're going to have enough time to get that ride in before the rain hits.
www.weather.com: The online version of The Weather Channel.

www.state.nh.us/dot/nhbikeped/maps.htm: The State of NH Bicycle/Pedestrian Information Center's detailed bike maps for the entire state in pdf form.
www.roadbikereview.com: Reviews of equipment and clothing for road biking. See what others think before you buy.
