Allez Elite

A Columbus SLX aluminum frame with a carbon seat stays and carbon fork are built with a Shimano 9-speed drivetrain with a compact double crankset to provide a sweet ride at an economical price.

Allez Comp

A mixed Shimano 9-speed grupo (double or triple available) gives a smooth-shifting ride with sizes from 50 to 62 cm (center to center) to fit just about everybody. Carbon seatstays and fork lighten the ride and add to its comfort.

Roubaix Elite

The Roubaix is a carbon monocoque frame with a carbon monocoque fork, both designed to soak up road shock, but still provide the stiffness needed for efficient power transfer. Shimano 105 components complete this 10-speed double, now with a compact crank. Go fast and long!

Dolce Comp

The Dolce is a women's specific model with a Columbus aluminum frame with carbon seatstays and a carbon fork. A 10-speed triple with Shimano components make this the ideal fitness or event-ride bike.

Ruby Comp

The Ruby is purpose-built for women who demand a ride without compromise. Utilizing the latest in proprietary Specialized FACT carbon composite technology, female cyclists now have every advantage in equipment that had historically been available to the other half of the population.

Specialized road bikes

Specialized is a relative newcomer to road bikes. After all, they're the people that practically invented the mountain bike. But then many innovations from the mountain-bike world — threadless headsets and "oversized" headtubes, just to name two — are now standards on the road.

Specialized has now used their research in off-road suspension to produce the innovative Zertz vibration-damping system. Found in the forks, handlebars, seatstays and seatposts of selected models, Zertz inserts absorb road vibrations before they reach the rider. Up to 80% of rear-axle vibrations are neutralized before they even reach the seat. This reduces rider fatigue over even the longest and roughest road course.

Chosen by the pros

The Quickstep-Innergetic pro team has again chosen Specialized to provide their bikes for the 2008 season. Specialized will provide bikes for the whole team, including two-time reigning world and Olympic champion Paolo Bettini and 2005 world champion Tom Boonen. The stress of stage races, where a bicycle has to work perfectly day after day, is the ideal proving ground for new ideas in materials and design.
